No Name Collie was a neglect seizure from the SPCA. After the vet cleared her
for grooming she was brought to us and the first thing we noticed was the smell! The SPCA had to cut off her collar and there
was extreme matting around her neck- it had probably never been removed. After taking her photos I began removing the worst
of the matting. Her rear legs were matted together and a matt from her vulva alone was bigger than my fist! Her neck was matted
all the way around, taking a #10 to remove her neck/mane. Her undercarriage was just as bad and behind her ears I had to use
a #40 in spots! It took 3 baths to get her clean and smell free. Thank you Les Poochs! During the process No Name had problems
standing, she was so emaciated, but such a trooper- so sweet and patient. After blowing her dry and removing tons of undercoat
I then scissored her up to blend her shaved areas into the long coat. The whole process took about 4 hours of hands-on time.
The SPCA Officers allowed us to christen her CinderElla and she left wagging her tail and actually trying to prance, groomed
for probably the first time in her life! Sadly CinderElla did not live happily ever after. Four days after her Makeover a
very large tumor was discovered that was causing her to suffer and she made the journey to the Rainbow Bridge peacefully.
